Barbara Lynn Bracken Sez. . .

I read the comments in your "supposedly George Carlin" column in Sam Sez.  I am still not in agreement with all the comments.  Whoever wrote it. . .was doing just what he/she stated at the end: RANTING to voice their opinions.

1. We all have opinions; they're just like ass holes, we all have one but what may be facts to one person. . .its simply talking shit to another.

2.  There were no opinions on how tax payer's monies were being spent when Hugo hit Florida. (predominantly retired white's)

3. Yes, New Orleans is in fact predominantly Black, but we all know that if it were not, there would have been transportation provided to evacuate potential victims of Katrina.  They just didn't give a fuck! PERIOD!

4. Stealing, vandalism, just unnecessary destruction of properties uncalled for and not justified in any way.

5. No one was complaining or even viewed it as related until the idiot Mayor of New Orleans got on national TV and stated that all the looting and crimes was from the Blacks, drug addicts and pimps.

What the hell was that when the news clearly stated and aired that everyone was looting for water, food and even shoes.  Some got carried away. . .and it became criminal.

6. They even went so far as to show a white person doing it, and said they were hungry and thirsty but a Black person was just flat out stealing, not hungry. (I love You Kenya West).

7. Not all were able to get out.  I’m sure if they were able to get out, they would have. . .no one stayed behind in hopes of loosing the lives of innocent children, or to be tossed about and hope they'd survive.

8. What should tax money be spent on. . .or who? Should we spend it on the 75% of the world’s children who are missing, kidnapped and forced into prostitution (right here in the USA)?  Well, that would be a start.

9. Does our Government Suck? Yes it does. . .once people realize that they are the government, and that these officials are only in office because we voted them into office with our wishes to be carried out and that they’re there to represent the people (“we are The Government”) and they are our voice’s. . .so if I were this guy, my concerns would be how I’m being represented by these assholes.

10. The Blacks of America are a lost Generation,, and that is because each generation before them were just as lost.  If in fact they had known the way, or hadn’t been denied the right to go their way; values and morals would still be intact.

11. African Americans? Yes, we are descendants of African Americans. Still a proud crown to wear.

12. The hurricane was a tragedy, a natural disaster. . .but more should have been done to prevent so many casualties, and the racist comments could have remained at the dinner table.

13. The news media had to air that shooting blacks for stealing water was not acceptable.

14. Am I a conservative? Am I a liberal? Well I’m conservative about some things and liberal about others.  We all are, no one is one thing.

I wonder if the person who wrote that. . .RANTS about the fact that the US government gives an illegal alien 6 to 10 thousand dollars if they make it to the main land in Florida, after they are caught by the police, and this is fact. . .and the sad thing is, they know this.  (lol).

Not everyone was or is able. . .If my tax dollars can help, so be it. . .no matter the color.

I LOVE MY NATIONALITY. . .and will defend it at all cost when its right to do so\. . Not all the actions in New Orleans were right or even lawful on all parts and parties.  No one knows better than the people involved about what they were and were not able to do.

Everyone else is on the outside looking in and being too fucking opinionated.
